The Imperial collar was favoured by the ruling classes from end C19th right through to 1940 when Imperialists rather went out of fashion.

These 2.6in (6.5cm) deep collars retain their crispness with normal washing and ironing.

When ordering collars it is usual to add ½in to the neckband collar size so a 15in shirt would need a 15.5in collar.
